Open postdoc position in “Machine learning for 6G”

We have an open postdoc position in the area of machine learning-based radio resoure management in future mobile networks. The postdoc is expected to carry our theoretical research and optionally also participate on validation in our state-of-the-art equipped lab.

The research will be carried out in the laboratory of mobile networks – 6Gmobile research lab, Department of Telecommunication Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.

The full-time contract with a competitive salary and bonuses will be set from spring 2022 for 12 months with a possible extension up to 3 years depending on mutual interest and available funding.

The applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Computer science, or similar domain
  • Publications in high quality journals (IEEE Transactions, Letters, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Background in mobile networks and machine learning
  • Good programming skills (MATLAB, Python, C/C++)
  • Ability to work independently and cooperate with a team of researchers
  • International experience during Ph.D. is a significant plus

Open PhD student position in “Mobile Caching for 6G” 

We have an open position for PhD student in the area of allocation of caching and communication resources in scenarios with vehicles (cars, drones, etc.).

The research will be carried out in the Laboratory of Mobile Networks, 6Gmobile research lab, Department of Telecommunication Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.

The position is funded by a national research project for support of an international collaboration in research towards future mobile networks and the project also covers student’s internship in leading European academic and research institutions during PhD.

The applicants should meet the following criteria:

  •  Hold M.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering, Computer science, or similar domain
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Background in wireless communications, optimization, and machine learning
  • Good programming skills (MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and cooperate with a team of researchers

    (positioning of UAVs providing services to users, allocation of communication and computation resources at UAVs, energy efficiency, radio resource and mobility management, interference management, etc.)

  • IoT and vehicular commuincations

    (vehicular communications, cooperation among vehicles, acess of IoT devices to mobile network, etc.)
