Jakub Novy received his bachelor and master degrees in Networks technology from Czech Technical University in Prague. During his bachelor studies, he has spend 5 months at Helsinki, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. In his bachelor’s thesis “Mobile network optimization exploiting Multi-Access Edge Computing” he designed and implemented Multi-Access Edge Computing for mobile network self optimization in OpenAirInterface platform. He has graduated with honors at CTU in Prague in June 2018 and received the Dean’s award for outstanding Bachelor thesis. In his master thesis he focused on Optimization of Mobile Networks exploiting Flying base stations.
